OK for showering Jun 13, 2009 I bought these simply to use while using in a public shower. When I first got them the little pegs along the upper side where your foot sits were excruciating. For at least 2 weeks my feet felt like nails were being driven into them while I wore these. That eventually went away and they became very comfortable. However, every time I took a shower because the foot area was so deep the water would build up around the little pegs on the sandal and i would have to furiously kick into the air or bang them against something upside down to get the water out so that they didn't get drops all over my floor when I went inside. After about 2 months the little pegs starting falling out and the painful sensation started coming back again because my feet would get rubbed badly in the spots where the pegs were falling out. I'm sure these are great for casual around the house wear but not good for showering or much of anything else.
