has some design flaws Jan 12, 2012
By JMills I was excited at first when I bought these shoes, but after only a few matches, the leather on the toe started separating from the sole of the shoe. Not just on one, but both. I used some shoe glue to put it back in place, but after a few more games my toes were sticking out again. I think this is why many other shoes, including ones that Adidas makes has an extra strap of fabric reinforcing/connecting the toe to sole area on indoor soccer shoes. I will keep buying Adidas but will only buy indoor shoes with the extra strip of fabric.
Mixed feelings Mar 24, 2011
By Stan Was really excited when I bought those. Great look and quality. Fits me perfect. And a few hours later I start feeling some pain. I was thinking it's just because they're new and it will go away. So I try them the day after. Same thing. I was thinking "Hey, maybe something's wrong with my feet", and tried to sell them. Gave them to 5 friends 1 by 1, all of them loved them the first day, and hated them on the next, feeling great pain just like me. So I'm not sure if there's something wrong with me (and my friends), the pair I got, or the shoes in general, but I sure hate the fact that I will just hang them somewhere and never put them on again
Good budget turf shoe but fatigue sets in on hard surfaces Dec 26, 2010
By Mark J. Strudwick This shoe provides pretty good support around the ankle, which I like, but when used on hard surfaces (sun baked or frosty fields) fatigue can set in around the balls of the feet and heels after a couple hours. I am a referee and use these often for four to five hours at a time and have found they are immensely improved with the addition of some after-market insoles. I have played recreational soccer a couple of times with the shoes and they seem to work well. The offset laces help provide a decent kicking surface and the molded grip provides good traction and purchase for quick cuts. On muddy fields, however, you will probably find them losing traction as the close-molded pattern will become clogged with the turf. Overall, an OK budget buy, but consider spending a little more for extra comfort if you're going to be playing primarily on harder fields.
