amazingly powerful racket!! Nov 16, 2009 This is a very uniquely designed isometric head small racket that has a beautiful blend of colors and looks very striking especially with a yellow net string. I got the 3U version, stringed with bg65, tension 22. It feels very light but packed lots of power for long clears and smashes. Slash Z is definitely the most powerful racket that I have ever owned as my clears and smashes are noticeably much more effective. It also has enough control to make tight net and drop shots as well. However, since it is a bit head small and has a different feel that previously designed yonex rackets, you may tend to hit quite a few frame shots and lower quality net shots in the beginning. But with practice, I am sure you will find it a ridiculously powerful weapon that is bound to up your game a few notches. Overall, I rated this racket extremely high as a primary offensive weapon where all-out attack is your style of play. I would suggest sticking to NS 9900 for doubles as it offers the perfect balance between offense and defense.
