My all-time most favorite racket Feb 09, 2011

I can honestly say Armortec 900p is definitely my most favorite racket among yonex series. I have owned a bunch of Nanospeed series, Musclepower and Arcsaber series. But I always go back to my armortec 900p as my most trusted weapon as it offers me the most consistent results with great offensive power coupled with impressive defensive abilities. Clears and smashes are executed effortlessly and for those of you who are attacking players, would definitely appreciate the head heavy design but still relatively light weight for quick defense in case your smashes are returned! It has a very sturdy design and very durable frame, unlike nanospeed series and arcsaber where frames can be easily cracked if hit once with your partner's racket.
Though armortec 900p is advertised more as a single's racket with aggressive offensive game in mind, I would think it is also suited for doubles. I used it for both my singles and doubles games and found it equally effective. Armortec 900p offers ample offensive power and still allows me to have excellent control to execute cross-court net shots and drops. Its defensive abilities is impressive as well which really seals the deal for me. I cannot guarantee that you can suddenly defend like Lee Chong Wei(currently World#1 and he uses 900p) or execute deadly accurate smashes like Lin Dan, but you would have owned a perfectly designed racket with winning in mind. I have both 900p in both 3u and 4u and like 3u a bit better. I have experimented quite a few strings to go along with my armortec and my most fav configuration now is bg80 tension 22. Hope you enjoy the racket as much as I do!

I own this racket and it really packs more punch in power. It is a bit heavy for defense however, but you'll get used to the weight. a lot os sting especially for returning baseline shots and great for offense!
