Amazing responsiveness Apr 12, 2011

"Tech Solution"
I'm coming a long way of upgrading my rackets in attempt to cover for lack of traning and Yonex keeps me buying by somehow managing to outperform itself. This is the finest racket I have so far.
I'm more on the control side (although I like to smash whenever I have a chance). That's why I like rackets with head-light balance (or at least even balance) - the ability to react to smashes is more important for me than putting a lot of power through my own smashes. Don't get me wrong though - the very first time I use this racket on court, my opponent just didn't have a time to react. KA-BOOM!!! - and shuttle is on the ground on their side of the court. Responsiveness of the racket is also amazing - it seems that it deflect hits just by itself. The backhand cross court never seems so easy. I took a few racket to try and it seems that this one always gives me a few extra feet in these tricky cross court clear (not a great idea to do it all the time - I know).
Here are few rackets I used in past few year - just to give an idea what I am comparing it to:
NanoSpeed 7000 - loved that racket until it gave up on me.
NanoSpeed 9900 - great replacement for oldie 7000 - even balance.
ArcSaber 10 - it was okay for me, but I guess it is more suitable for smashers. So I traded it on a second of ...
ArcSaber Z-Slash - got one last year and loved it rightaway - fast and responsive - so I was pleased to get another one of the kind in exchange for ArcSaber 10.
Voltric 80 - tops them all - speed, responsiveness, power, sound - you name it.
It does have one serious drawback though - you won't want to go back to other rackets - which will feel a bit sluggish. In fact now I think the last tourney I lost because of the broken string on V-80. Had to resort to ArcSaber Z-Slash, but it didn't help. So either consider having a spare or keep practicing with old racket and save this one for hard games.
